7th Expo Pakistan Exhibition will have Exclusive Japanese Pavilion
The 7th Expo Pakistan Exhibition will be held in October this year and it will have many Japanese brands and companies participate in to explore Pakistani market’s potential for Japanese goods. The Expo Centre Karachi will have an exclusive Japanese pavilion by Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro).
Jetro already operates in Pakistan catering to many other Japanese brands and companies that already exist in Pakistan. There are around 68 Japanese brands that provide their quality products throughout Pakistan. Some of the Japanese companies which are interested to explore their possibilities of creating a market in Pakistan include automobiles, engineering, and consumer items amongst others. Such brands as Toyota, Honda, Suzuki and Hino are expected to participate in with their latest models in cars, coasters, and trucks.
Opening up of more Japanese businesses means more employment opportunities for the people and better socio-economic condition for the country. Pakistani engineers will also be able to learn first-hand about Japanese technology used in various machines and brands. It will help improve industrial innovation as Japan is known for bringing newer technology in an innovative way. Japanese brands will be looking for what kind of preference do Pakistani buyers and consumers have in Japanese products in particular.
Japan looks for better regulatory support for Japanese automobile manufacturers. Many of the used cars in Japan are imported into Pakistan, which are still in first-class condition as Japanese roads and infrastructure is one of the best in the world. But what Japan wants to see to develop better business relations is to control of smuggled auto-parts which hurt businesses. Japan is a country that always looks to explore newer markets especially in the third world countries and Pakistan must present its venues as the best option for them to stay here.
