Pakistani-American Technology Company Gets Recognised Amongst the Top 5000 US Companies
The renowned Inc. magazine releases the list of top 5000 best performing American companies annually and this year’s list includes Cybertex Institute of Technology. It is a Texas-based computer enterprise run by a Pakistani-American businessman, Iqbal Sheikh, and scored the 3489th placement in the list. Cybertex Institute of Technology started almost ten years ago providing services from a dedicated team of technology experts.
The U.S., despite all of its economic meltdown and financial struggles, still gives a chance for a company to grow if it delivers on quality. The success of this one Pakistani-American’s company is an inspiration to others who want to make their mark in a similar way. This not only shows that Pakistanis are second to none in any given field and especially in technology, but also proves that we can also lead others. Another inference is of entrepreneurship without which no businessman can reach his goals.
Being engaged in such technological advancement studies such as being the member of the advisory council of Texans for Stem Cell Research, Austin, Iqbal Sheikh is focused on modern methods of development. He is also a leader of the chamber of commerce. Besides, being interested in technology, Iqbal Sheikh also takes a keen interest in Pakistan’s history and politics. He played a key role in establishing Charlie Wilson Chair in Pakistan Studies at the University of Texas at Austin.
For all those aspiring young entrepreneurs who want to take Pakistan’s name abroad with success can learn a lot of lessons from Iqbal Sheikh’s example. Some might see this as a brain-drain of Pakistan’s potential and talent, but one can optimistically view this as spreading positive image of Pakistani nation. Such ventures as made by Iqbal Sheikh surely convince foreigners that Pakistan has a lot more to offer in the world of technology.
