I am part of the team organizing the World Usability Day 2008 event in Pakistan. We are based out of Lahore, but we invite every one to join in the celebration and spreading of awareness on Usability in general. If you are in Lahore, you are welcome to register at http://www.ixdc.org/events.htm and attend the event. We have a lot of good speakers on the theme of this year along with live video link with Google Map Maker's developer from Google. Those in other cities, please write, talk and discuss Usability. Get together and watch the live Ustream.tv video we will be streaming during the event. Spread the buzz on usability in your blogs as it is related to all products and services. I try talking to a few people who might be interested in conducting workshops/sessions, because I'd love to have "GnW usability party in karachi" :) Might as well talk to my alma mater SZABIST asking for place to conduct these sessions. Please let me know if you are already in touch with anyone who plans to do the same at Karachi. Ahh focus on “HCI”..badly needed!
