They also have a presence in Pakistan. I recently went through the Pakistani site of the company and found it to be devoid of any activity. There was just one listing, Bahria Complex III of Karachi. I wondered why there is such a lack of interest among Pakistani businesses? Or the concept of a professional office management service has yet to take roots here?
I got a variety of answers. The first reason is the lack of awareness as many people don’t know that there is a venture which can help them in setting up offices etc. Secondly, the company itself has no solid foundation in this country nor they have done any publicity.
Despite that fact, such ventures are definitely a welcome addition. With the boom in outsourcing business (though we might see a recession in very near future) and the expanding business portfolios, we need more office spaces. BPOs usually don’t buy hard assets like property and this ‘outsourcing’ of office space can really help them. It will reduce their operating costs and more importantly will relieve them from the hassle of finding and furnishing a place, hiring support staff and those dreaded lease agreements. The virtual office concept, especially, can benefit the growing number of freelancers. What do you guys think?
