You'll find room leaders discussing Project Management, Telecom Operations management and other softer aspects of Telecom. In my opinion telecom industry has produced a lot of "hybrid" business areas such as HR project management, corporate project coordination , product management etc. These areas do not require hardcore engineers in fact they require individuals who have a sound understanding for technological aspect of telecom products and at the same time they can understand the market dynamics so they can develop projects which will sell. Another area that has become house to a lot of our young graduates are the telecom call centers. In my opinion Zumbeel should introduce forums, industry practices , job oppurtunities and maybe an expert panel to address these non technical job areas in the telecom industry and then we will have a complete telecom portal here. But then their vision may only be focused on engineering.
