Testing a very cool feature – now chat live with anyone reading G&W with you
Update – Apparently this only works on Firefox so the IE site went down for a bit – its fixed now (you’ll see the widget above the comments on the right if you’re using firefox). This should help the old FF vs IE debate…
Update 2 – Apparently it doesn’t work fully in Firefox either — if there are three people in the swarm it throws errors for the rest. We’ll test it for a couple of more days and then remove it if it is still giving problems
Hey good news! What if you were walking down the street and you saw a bunch of people huddled around a shop — you would be curious enough to walk there too right? (admit it — all Pakistanis would do that)
Well now you can do the same thing with Green & White. We are testing a widget from Eyebees, which is similar to BumpIn, which I covered this morning. They will let you see live who else is on the site and what articles they’re reading. If you see a bunch of people huddled around a story – then its some intense debate, so check it out.
What’s more, you can now also chat live with all of the other people reading Green & White at that time. I’d like to see any print magazine do that! Or a TV channel for that matter.
Go ahead – go wild, make new friends, network!
