Heart-felt Words
Jehan Ara just covered the v.2.0 of Green & White with words that describe Green & White better than I have ever been able to:
His vision for Green&White was the creation of a virtual place where CEOs, CTOs, Managers, Interns and Students met frequently and discussed challenges faced by the industry.
Why? Well, his contention was that as the Pakistani economy grows and old-school thinking is replaced by cutting edge business practices, new challenges crop up. To face this new set of challenges, he figures that “group thinking†is what is needed – to have constructive discourse to try and come up with viable solutions – in other words ‘to have Coffee Sessions’.
She nailed it. Too bad she follows this with:
Has he succeeded? Well, I guess that depends entirely on your definition of success or his.
Uh oh!?

Osama, I call ‘em as I see ‘em. And I don’t think my definition of success should be relevant here. As I see it, some people measure success in terms of how much money you have made, others measure succees in accordance with the size of a project or company. My measurement of success always has been: Have I achieved what I set out to? Does it make me happy? Is it helping anyone else? Is it really something I want to do? If the answers to all of these questions is Yes, then I believe that at least I am on the path to eventual success. You have got to figure out what your defintion of success is in relation to Green&White. Personally I think it is on the right path … but does it really matter what I say? It shouldn’t.

Absolutely right, everyone is entitled to their own definitions of success.
I also agree that size does not matter. A lot of companies on the web and otherwise are making money with very small (4-8 person teams).
Smaller teams means less overhead, more energy and innovation.
5 people can do the work of 50 if the right mix of passion / skill / vision get together.
