Ask.com, which used to be the #4 biggest search engine, just relaunched their front page.
And boy what a beautiful relaunch!
If I have to go to a page 40 times in day, wouldn’t my life be easier if it looked so pretty (and I could customize it and add my own wallpaper to it?)
On top of this, their actual search results screen is very impressive as well — they aggregate results, images, video, blog posts and news all together on the same page, which even beats the recent plus-sign-for-video Google had introduced.
On top of this, Ask already has one of the best mapping service at city.ask.com — try it out and you’ll see.
What do you all think about Ask’s actual search results and relevance? Do you see Ask moving you away from Google?
