Saqib quoted one of his professors during TIECon when presenting a one-sentence summary of entrepreneurship, which went like this:
Entrepreneurship is the pursuit of doing what you want to do with resources currently not under your control
That actually is a decent summary: any venture requires resources including a team, technology, a product, a brand, lead customers (as resources such as point of references) and more.
Most of entrepreneurship involves the struggle of acquiring the resources — the business management piece of it is much simpler.
Sometimes acquiring these components of a successful venture are more
difficult than the financial resources needed for the engine to run.
