Startups in PK are working harder and harder on their video pitches it seems… I can see atleast a common animation and editing style in two of them.

BumpIn

In the first ad some one tell me please what the heck is “Confiance”. Is it confidence or co finance or what? I think these small details matter when you are putting up ads and I have seen that’s where most people in our side of the world flunk out. The devil is in the details. If someone cannot even spell confidence properly (or to lazy to run a spell checker) I won’t trust them with my money atleast. P.S: I ran a search on “confiance” on the dictionary and couldn’t find the meaning of it. Maybe it’s some jargon that I would love to add to my vocabulary.

while I agree these are ‘pitches’ the one on amaana is an unscripted user feedback of their beta service, whereas Jaadu, BumpIn and Scrybe are product demos.
The one on Jaadu was prepared by Jehanzeb himself (I think that’s what he told us at the T2F demo). The other 3 seem to have cost their investors.

OMG - look at the youtube hits on Scrybe video. Damn ….
what kind of media coverage did they get back in 06/07?

amaana means Trust in Arabic and the short film opens with the same word in different languages. Confiance means Trust in French:

Farzal - their website iscrybe.com lists all that coverage.
Fahd - thanks for the clarification.
