Hi new visitor! At Green & White we discuss startups, business models, new media marketing, usability and more.

You can subscribe to the RSS feed or subscribe for email alerts so that you keep up to date with the latest content. Now, on with the regular content...

Sometimes, a picture (or a collection of them) is worth more than a thousand words. So instead of boring you with text and bullet points, i’ll just show you!

What is IT Governance?

Click on the image to go to the hosted presentation on slideshare, the best place in the world to share slides. I would’ve embedded it here, but we’re having some technical difficulties in that.

This presentation is featured as “Slideshow of the Day” on slideshare.net, the highest honor on that site. Also, I’ve included it in the World’s Best Presentation Contest under the Business category, so if you like it, don’t forget to vote up for it!

Hmm clearly GW needs more articles.

  2. Corona Said:

  3. mirza Said:

I agree with ujmi, G&W is out of ideas/news …

  4. Ashwan Said:

    Hey

This is Ashwan from SlideShare, I’d like to help you embed the presentation in the post. What seems to be the trouble?

  5. Farrukh Said:

Understand that your readers are IT professionals who come here in their free time to read interesting articles and catch up on the latest news on the state of the industry in our green and white country.

Using the site to promote or leverage yourself is just simply immature. Maybe even criminal.

  6. mansoor Said:

corona: voting is optional :) just enjoy (and learn) from the slideshow.

    ashwan: i’ll email you!

farrukh: what part of “IT Governance” is not interesting for IT professionals? secondly, whether you like it or not, its becoming a reality for our industry real fast. you know that one one of your biggest organization’s start having roles like “Manager IT Governance”.

as for promoting myself, i dont see why it’s “criminal” here? i’m not promoting my car or my cat for that matter am i?

mansoor: this isn’t your personal blog. So, please refrain from posting entries like this; purely personal promotional posts.

Even, Osama, despite being the main editor of this blog, showed reluctance for doing that for his business.

This badly damaged the repute of this blog.

  8. Corona Said:

    Cool down people. :D

  9. Corona Said:

yea, it seriously seems like g&w is out of ideas. I haven’t seen a post in a week’s time.

  10. ob Said:

Maybe they are busy with other projects?

I do hope that they get back to covering startups soon..

  11. Suleman Said:

In an attempt to boost “interesting” articles on G&W, I’d like to steer you towards covering cacatoo. Hell, use it, see what you think of it and whether or not it’s useful to all the bloggers out there! :)
