ByteSense launching game provisioning product Ziyro with Wateen

ByteSense was one of the startups present at Startup Insiders 2 – Lahore. The GamerPK blog has news that they are now getting ready to launch a Multiplayer Gaming Provision server that they will be licensing as a product to multiple service providers.

Not coming from a heavy gaming background, but as far as I understand the system will host Multiplayer servers so that people from Lahore and elsewhere can play their PC games against each other. They will get faster network responses because the server will also be in Lahore and routed immediately from the Teleco / service provider, as opposed to someone connecting to a gaming system in, say, Europe.

The server is based on a contract given to them by Wateen Telecom recently to build such a system. Other popular such systems in this region include Micronet Broadband’s 3G2 Pavilion service

ByteSense is a solutions provider servicing the telecom sector based out of Lahore. At the time writing, however, their site was down so I couldnt confirm any recent announcements.

Lets see how traction for the product builds up.

    Thanks Osama for covering us. I’d like to add that Ziyro is not just a Game Provisioning System. it enables you to host games, perform realtime charging or postpaid billing, integrate with provisioning and customer care. The best part is our gaming client for Windows which allows a very smooth experience for gamers. In short, our system allows you to setup your own GameSpy Network with your own branded gaming client.

    More details as we move forward; we are signing up more operators and our product will be open for general Game Service Providers very soon.

    dude…can some one please tell me when wateen is going to offer online gaming…its the only reason why i got wateen, and now i find the horrible reality…no online gaming…………so the question is….when?

    ByteSense is a fraudulent company, they stole a considerable amount of money from us and have dropped all communication. We are now considering legal action against them.

    I hope no one will have the misfortune of dealing with this corrupt company and the thieves who pose for them.
