You are correct that the existing banking network is not robust, and that is the opportunity that amaana is using to bring in an alternative payment platform altogether. Because in Pakistan we are daily hit by so many companies and offers and later we see them in newspapers, a scene of history, leaving behind victims...... I think state bank or PTA may be the authorities who could help establish an atmosphere of trust among masses.
