Orgoo, a startup that I still haven’t covered (although their story lives in my drafts prepetually) whose development center was recently set up in Islamabad (in close support from Digital Prodigy no doubt) is presenting at the TechCrunch40 conference going on right now.

More details of Orgoo from me later and pardon my absence in covering startups, but to be fair they should’ve given me a beta request now that I’ve asked them in person.

I will be back from hiatus one day. You’ll see.

This is great – all of a sudden we’re starting to hear Pakistani companies (esp. startups) making a name for themselves! It’s exciting times we’re living in…

btw, I don’t recall ever reading here about aboutus.org’s recently opened development center in Lahore. Shows the confidence foreign companies are finally starting to show in our abilities.

    Hx,

    That’s because we haven’t covered it… yet.

Remember: If it didn’t cover it.. it never happened :)

Excuse for not covering it is that I’m knee deep in consulting and research these days — not much of an excuse but that’s the way life deals it.

There’s a lot of startup activity that I want to cover, so stay tuned.
