Reported by Tee Emm first, Wateen telecom just issued a press release that they have … umm.. celebrated the day their CEO joined the group.

Is Wateen getting a bit desperate to tell the press whatever good news it can find? I’ve heard of agressive PR strategies but this takes the cake. (pun intended).

On a side note, that is a fresh idea though. Instead of celebrating birthdays (which are overrated for professionals aren’t they) celebrate the day people join a company, and their “employment age”). Hmm maybe instead of presents the people could get bigger and bigger work orders too.
